Colonial Seal Company was founded in 1994 by Vietnam-Era USMC Veteran, Stephen Maloney and quickly established itself as an important distributor of high-quality oil seals, O-rings, and hydraulic seals. In 2000, the company acquired Advanced Seal Technologies which designs and manufactures custom lathe-cut seals. ISO 9001 certification was attained in 2008 for the distribution and design support of sealing products used in industrial and automotive applications. In May 2023 the company acquired SSP Manufacturing.

Colonial Seal Company is an ISO certified specialty distributor of oil seals, rotary shaft seals, hydraulic seals, custom metal-cased seals and rubber-to-metal bonded products for the industrial, commercial and government markets. Colonial Seal will be recognized as a premier specialty distributor in the fluid power industry. Colonial Seal accepts responsibility for the complete satisfaction of its customers. We execute this responsibility through comprehensive training of employees; adherence to established procedures; commitment to meeting or exceeding customer requirements; and maintaining a company culture that fosters continuous improvement. Since Colonial Seal is a small business, senior management will ensure that the quality policy permeates all functional departments in the organization. All employees will participate in monthly QC Reviews and Quarterly Business Plan Meetings. All requirements will be defined in writing and use of the Business Plan Consolidated Task List will provide the President with a mechanism for tracking the completion of requirements necessary to accomplish the business and quality objectives of the company.
Company Facilities
Colonial Seal Company facilities include its 10,000 square-foot headquarters and distribution site located in Westville, New Jersey and a 2,500 square-foot manufacturing facility in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania.
